Primarily used as a silane coupling agent, it serves as a waterproofing agent and protective treatment, forming a hydrophobic layer on substrate surfaces to effectively prevent water seepage, sun damage, and corrosion by acids and alkalis. It is also employed as a surface modifier for inorganic fillers to enhance their dispersibility and compatibility in plastics, rubber, and resins. Applications:
